From Wednesday 15th December, Albert’s Shed Live Music Venues in Shrewsbury and Southwater, Telford will require a Covid Pass or evidence of a negative Lateral Flow Test as a condition of entry of an evening. This is to comply with Government ‘Plan B’ regulations relating to venues open between 1am and 5am, offering alcohol, music (live or recorded) and dancing, regardless of capacity.
You can submit LFT results via this link We found if your submission uses the same email that’s connected to the NHS app. The information syncs across and you can access your 48-hour COVID PASS (via the NHS app).
Commenting on the new Government regulations, David Gregg, Head of Operations said:
“As a responsible grassroots live music venue operator, Albert’s Shed recognises that these new requirements will place additional demands on its operation as well as potentially frustrating audiences. However, as a member of the Music Venue Alliance, an organisation representing grassroots live music venues throughout the UK, Albert’s Shed was already actively encouraging audiences to take a Lateral Flow Test before attending events as part of the MVA #TakeATest campaign. These ‘Plan B’ regulations simply serve to reinforce the message Albert’s Shed was already happy to promote.”
