Football Fixtures November

Football Fixtures in November for Shrewsbury Town

The going is still tough for Shrewsbury Town as they scrape out of the relegation zone with a win against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. Boss John Askey must have been beyond belief as Luke Waterfall’s last minute goal helped Town secure their first away win of the season. More importantly this was Askey’s last chance saloon, especially against AFC Wimbledon who’ve also had a terrible start to the season.

It’s possible that the win on Saturday will give the boys the boost in moral needed to mop up another two wins in the following weeks. Shrewsbury Town’s next football fixture in November is against tier five Salford City in the first round of the FA Cup on Sunday November 11. That’s followed by a Football League Trophy group stage game against Crewe on Tuesday November 13. John Askey will have to secure wins against both of these teams if he’s got any chance of retaining his job.

With a few wins under their belt, it’s possible that Town will come out of their recent slump and step it up a gear. They’ll need to do something. Middle of the month means greater competition as Shrewsbury Town face mid-table Rochdale and Wycombe; both teams are having a good run at the moment. So we guess if the bossman stays on long enough, he’ll be looking forward to the last game in November against floundering Plymouth Argyle on November 27.

Liverpool fixtures

Liverpool loses the pole position in the Premier League following a draw against Arsenal as Man City smashes Southampton 6-1. That must be a stinger. But with two points in it, it’s anyone’s guess as it’s still very early days. For Liverpool though the next few games are looking promising. Their next game sees the Reds play against Red Star Belgrade who they trounced last time winning 4-0. Securing a win would put Liverpool F.C. into a very good position for going through to the next round.

On Sunday November 11, Liverpool faces Fulham, a team struggling to make it past the starting blocks. The Premier League competition heats up later in the month as Liverpool take on Watford, currently residing a respectable eighth in the league. Worry not, Liverpool has rarely lost against Watford, but don’t count your chickens just yet.

To round of the month, the Reds go up against PSG in their fifth match of six in the Champions League group stages. This is where it counts. A win here would wrap up Liverpool as first place winners in Group C.

England Uefa Nations League in November

With Spain at the top of the league, England must feel like they are dreaming as Croatia take on Spain on Thurs November 15, followed by their own game against Croation on Sunday November 18 at 2pm. We imagine the English team will be hoping to face a weakened Croatia at the end of this group stage.
