September is a funny old month. Sometimes we can have a heat wave that last until October, other times it just bangs it down until old man Winter takes his icy grip. This is a problem for our Albert.
Now Albert is getting on a bit, and he’s not enjoying the idea of this there cold weather. Proudly he parades around the shed in his oil stained shorts, loosely flailing as he shuffles from place to place. His skinny legs, tinted with the colour and texture of a fine blue cheese glare like snow blindness. So he’s made a few adjustments.
Donning a fresh pair of thick woollen socks and a dustman’s cap, Albert rubbed his forehead. Grey matter began to whirl uncontrollably. Synapse long forgotten reconnected with a magnet like snap. And then it came.
