ALBERT’S SONGWRITERS SHOWCASE
Barry Williams – the Shrewsbury-based troubadour whose debut album Open Book has been turning heads across the airwaves, including spins on BBC Introducing Shropshire. Influenced by everyone from Frank Turner and Manic Street Preachers to Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, Barry blends emotional honesty with sharp wit, performing both fan favourites and fresh new material – all with his trademark storytelling charm.
Headlining the evening is the supremely talented Heidi Browne – a multi-instrumentalist powerhouse (guitar, piano, violin, banjo, flute, and mouth trumpet – yes, really!). With her 7th album now out, and accolades including Open Mic UK winner and radio play on BBC Radio 1, 2 & 6Music, Heidi’s rich, genre-blurring sound has found fans everywhere from Caffe Nero playlists to major supermarkets and music venues up and down the Country. Her live performance is not to be missed – full of warmth, skill, and a whole lot of soul.
Free entry, first act on stage at 8.30pm.
