WATERMELON CHRONICLES
Welcome to the melonverse….
Big riffs, tight grooves, no fuss. Watermelon Chronicles hit like a well-oiled three-piece, all punchy drums, melodic bass and guitar lines that bite then bloom. The Shropshire outfit stitch their own rock cuts into a set that swings from classic stomp to proggy left turns, reworking favourites by the likes of Deep Purple, The Police and Thin Lizzy without losing the pub-floor singalong. Paul Atwell, Joe Butler and Del Jones play with the easy chemistry of long miles and loud rooms, locking in hard then letting the choruses lift. At Albert’s Shed Southwater, it lands warm and loud, like a friendly thunderclap.
