This month’s GGH is a punk/metal late Halloweeny-spectacular!  Featuring the phenomenal MAD SPANNER (one man metal goliath), COWER, HOUNDS! (Sabbath meets QOTSA) and headliners GLITCHERS (punky/political guerrilla gig machine). Free entry, drinks offers and alternative DJs playing the best in metal/rock/punk/grunge/indie/emo all night.

Go to any gig and you get the acoustic opener, the big main band and the afterparty DJ. Fuse them together and you’re starting to get close to Funke & the Two Tone Baby. A one-man phenomenon that mixes folky singalong anthems with blistering blues riffs, juxtaposed with fat bass, big beats and sub kicks.

Support from Greysha, delivering a psychedelic and dream-like composition with looming melodies and soulful lyrics.

The Social Ignition are a mighty 8-piece ska band from Hinckley guaranteed to roll up in a bus full of bass, brass ‘n booze with an arsenal of get-up/get-down skanking beats.

Solar Mohicans are favourite with the Albert’s Shed DJs. These guys hold their own against classics performed by Hendrix, Paul Simon, RATM, Led Zeppelin, Beatles and Pink Floyd.

Captain Stingray’s Groove Machine are a world groove collective from Stoke who create music for dancing and singing – these guys are always a hit!

Telford-based Guns for Girls play infectious post-grunge alternative groove that makes your body move.

Era’s End are an alt-metal band from the Stoke for fans of In This Moment, New Year’s Day and The Pretty Reckless. Support comes from Nottinghamshire punk rockers the Parallel States.

Undisputed kings of ska/rock in Shropshire, Fight the Bear have played the length and breadth of the UK and Europe, entrancing audiences with big riffs, danceable grooves and an artillery of vocal melody.

Captain Accident is a reggae/ska/soul artist who creates a unique blend of soulful lovers rock, roots reggae, ska, dub and rocksteady. Always an amazing act to watch and dance to, Albert is well chuffed to have them performing on his stage. Support comes from Newtown’s Packet Racket.

Millie Manders and The Shutup create cross-genre punk that is hard to ignore. With lyricism that pokes fun, draws you in or leaves you questioning social norms teamed with incredible vocal dexterity, grinding guitars, irresistible horn hooks and a pumping rhythm section, the Millie Manders Music Machine churns out more raw punk fusion than you can shake a stick at, with a huge amount of Pop appeal.
