ALBERT’S SONGWRITERS SHOWCASE
First up is Jude Lane, the North‑Welsh storyteller who turned a childhood nickname into a stage name twelve years ago. With a pedigree of fronting rock‑cover bands and a natural knack for lyric‑craft, Jude blends raw guitar riffs with heartfelt vocals that feel like a chat with an old friend.
Next, meet Bryony Williams – the Birmingham indie darling whose single “Honey” earned rave reviews and whose EP snagged a Birmingham Music Awards nod for Best Record. Bryony’s been “Artist to Watch” on BBC Introducing, toured with the likes of Hazel English and The Japanese Breakfast, and just wrapped up her debut album You Are Here, fresh off a buzz‑worthy run of limited‑edition vinyl and festival slots from Dot to Dot to a Glastonbury short‑list.
Free entry, first act on stage at 8.30pm.
