FRIGHT NIGHT AT ALBERT’S SHED
Get ready for a full night of alternative rock, horror-punk, and garage noise this Halloween. We have four live bands lined up, a prize for best dressed, and DJ Ether E taking over the decks to keep the party going straight after the live music.
A Pig Called Eggs
Formed in the West Midlands, A Pig Called Eggs are an experimental alt-rock band whose releases include their EP Handsome Head. With tracks featured on BBC Introducing broadcasts across the Midlands, their live history includes sets at Unorthodox Paradox Festival, regional underground showcases, and regular appearances at Albert’s Shed.
Dead Elvis
Dead Elvis are a local alternative band who recently dropped their debut double-single, “White Jeans” / “Humble Bragger”. Following a packed hometown single launch gig at The Dolphin in Shrewsbury and debut plays on Brum Radio, they are bringing their live set to the Albert’s Shed stage for Fright Night.
Boom Boom Womb
Boom Boom Womb are a Shrewsbury-based riot grrrl punk band whose self-released Spotify singles include “I WANT” and “heavy period”. Their recent gig history includes main-stage sets at Worcester Music Festival, Stourbridge Pride, and opening for touring acts like Slackrr at Albert’s Shed.
GAUCHE
GAUCHE are a Shropshire/West Midlands post-punk act built around driving basslines and dark-wave rhythm work. They are regulars across the regional live circuit, featuring on Albert’s Shed Alt-Week showcases and regional alt-rock lineup bills.
Prize for best dressed on the night, so make sure you bring your top-tier costume.
