
WINTER SUN TOUR WITH DAN SEALEY & LORRAINE NASH
Two acclaimed singer-songwriters – seasoned British troubadour Dan Sealey and Ireland’s rising folk star Lorraine Nash – launch their collaborative Winter Sun UK Tour, offering audiences an evening of evocative songwriting, musical depth, and masterful storytelling. This special co-headline tour promises a night of musical warmth and emotional resonance as the darker nights draw in. Together, Sealey and Nash will deliver a show that blends Irish and English folk traditions to stages across the country.
Lorraine Nash
From Co. Kerry has been noted as ‘The Future of Irish Folk’ by Irish Independent. Independent journalist Tony Clayton-Lea states ‘If you’re looking for quality reference points, think of a special blend of traditional singer Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and folk/Americana songwriters such as Laura Marling and Gillian Welch’ . March 2025 saw the release of a Deluxe Edition of her Debut Album ‘All That I Can Be’. 2024 saw performances in Australia, Cambridge Folk Festival, All Together Now, Electric Picnic and she opened for legendary artist Nick Lowe at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Jan 2025 she performed on Ireland’s biggest TV programme, The Late Late Show to celebrate 20 years of TradFest, dueting with Mike Hanrahan of Stockton’s Wing on the iconic song ‘The Voyage’. Her music has been featured on RTÉ Radio 1, Mark Radcliffe’s Folk Show BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Ulster, Scotland, and Wales. Lorraine opens for Hothouse Flowers on their UK Summer Tour, before playing the Acoustic stage Glastonbury, on Sat 28 June ‘25.
Dan Sealy
Songwriter, bass guitarist, vocalist, engaging storyteller… the list goes on when it comes to describing the many talents of Dan Sealey.
Born in Birmingham, began his career with folk-rock band Ocean Colour Scene, touring globally and headlining major festivals for over a decade. He co-founded Merrymouth with Simon Fowler, featuring top musicians like John McCusker and Andy Cutting, and guest Chas Hodges. Dan also revived the renowned Music Hall act Cosmotheka with his father Dave, touring widely and headlining folk festivals across the UK. Dan released his debut album, ‘Beware of Darkness’ in spring 2025 and has just completed a successful first tour as a solo artist. He blends music from his past bands with humorous stories in his live shows.
