Ska/rock/pop – three genres that the Manor Heights manage to marry into a truly original and beautiful bouncing sound. Shropshire Radio had them as artist of the week, we have them as artist of the year. Also their drummer Jase is an absolute heartthrob. What more do you need?

Zen Baseballbat have unmistakable shades of post-ska reggae simmering with new-wave riffs, rhythmical plinks and bowel-shaking rumbles. Industrious bass and luminous bursts of percussive melody straddling the divide between manipulated dub, instrumental groove and disgruntled rhyme. This band will take you through a whole gamut of emotions, lifting you up when you least expect it, at other times provoking anger, sadness, determination and the desire to stand up and be counted.

THE SLACKERS

Since 1991, the Slackers have released fifteen albums and countless singles, while their 1000s of live performances feed their fans with energetic sets of ecstatic music.

The Slackers have been called “the Sound of New York” the New York Times. They were described by Brooklyn Vegan as a “clean mix of Ska, Reggae, and Soul that gets dirtied up by Vic Ruggiero’s tough New York accent.”

BRIGANTES

Described as ‘genre-hopping stalwarts’, Brigantes are a dynamic 5-piece band from West Yorkshire, known for their distinctive fusion of punk, ska, and reggae. They’ve set the ska punk scene ablaze both locally and nationally – playing shows and festivals across the country, namely Rebellion Punk Music Festival and Boomtown Fair along with other renown festivals in the scene.
