Albert’s Comedy Shed is a monthly comedy club in Telford featuring a breadth of comedic talent from across the UK, handpicked by bigwigs at Ingenious Fools and performed at Albert’s Shed Southwater.

Danny McLoughlin

Since his appearance in the 2008 Chortle Student Comedy Award Final, Chester comedian Danny McLoughlin has been making a name for himself across the circuit as a well-respected talent and club MC.

With performances in the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show during Edinburgh Festival 2009 & 2010, his quick wit and sharp material has seen Danny firmly establish himself as a sought-after act on any stand-up bill, regularly performing at every major UK comedy club, music festival including Latitude & Leeds as well as being a regular MC for the coveted lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Awards Galas.

Danny has been hand-picked to support a number of high-profile acts on tour including; Micky Flanagan, Sarah Millican, Doc Brown and Sean Lock. His TV credits include appearing on Al Murray’s One Night Stand (Dave) and the Premier League Show (BBC Two) and he also took to the radio waves to co-host one of Jason Manford’s Sunday morning shows for Absolute Radio.

He debuted his new solo show on 01/02 at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to packed out rooms and 5-star reviews throughout the month-long run.

BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist Ricky Balshaw is a former Paralympic, World Championship and European Championship dressage medallist, and sports pundit, with a penchant for dark humour. Join Ricky for a reliably twisted and hilarious look at the unique social and physical challenges he faces as a disabled person as well as having his masculinity challenged just because he rides horses. As seen on BBC One, BBC Three and Channel 4.

Jenny Hart

Jenny has blasted onto the comedy scene with a whirlwind of musical mayhem that is not for the fainthearted but always delivered with her cheeky brand of playful and dark fun.

Hailing from the South but now living in the North she’s fast become a regular on the UK’s best comedy lineups with the likes of Reginald D Hunter, Tom Stade and Jamalli Maddix to name a few. The multi-award-winning and Best Breakthrough act nominee is guaranteed to make you giggle a lot.

Jamie Hutchinson is one of the brightest sparks on the UK circuit. His commanding stage presence and razor sharp wit make him a sought after act for major clubs across the country. He has headlined the prestigious Big Value Late Show at the Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for the Leicester Mercury award.
